Another interesting Windows 8.1-powered slate is coming very soon, considering ASUS has already uploaded the device’s user manual on its website. It’s the VivoTab Note 8 with IPS display, a quad-core processor and a stylus.
The VivoTab Note 8 has already passed through USA’s FCC as well, which means it will probably go official at CES in a few days.
ASUS VivoTab Note 8 should come with an 8″ IPS display with 1280×800 pixel resolution, a quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 chip, 2GB of RAM and up to 64GB internal storage. According to the manual the Note 8 will come with a stylus, which means it could feature a Wacom digitizer – the same Samsung is using on its Galaxy Note 3 phablet.
Asus VivoTab Note 8 announcement should be just around the problem and will probably happen at CES in Las Vegas (January 7-10).
