Android 4.2.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Grand coming soon, test ROM leaks

We already know that quite a few Samsung smartphones and slates will get to taste Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean eventually. The previously leaked list includes both single and dual SIM models of the Galaxy Grand.

What we didn’t know though is when to expect those updates to launch. Well, it seems the new firmware for the ample-screened Samsung Galaxy is just around the corner,.

An insider has sent SamMobile a test Android 4.2.2 ROM for the Galaxy Grand Duos model. It adds many new features such as Smart Stay, Page Buddy, Day Dream, new unlocking animation, a transparent notification bar, etc.

Here is a video of a Galaxy Grand Duos running on the Android 4.2.2. The guy who already tested this ROM claims it is faster and offers better battery life compared to the 4.1.2 version of Jelly Bean that the Galaxy Grand is currently running on.
