Recently Google released the new SDK component package for Android 2.1 OS. Thanks to it, the developers will be able to take full advantage of the new features coming with the 2.1 version of the free mobile OS.
The new SDK comes also with USB driver support for the first Google phone – the Nexus One.
Meanwhile, after a week since the Nexus One launch, the Google smartphone has been rooted and now everyone can unlock it and use tethering and other cool stuff. There aren’t many cooked ROMs for the Nexus One yet, but after the release of the new SDK, I’m sure they will follow soon.
Here is a complete guide to rooting the Nexus One. Just don’t blame it on us if you brick your phone.
