It seems that every computer manufacturer wants in on the tablet action and Acer are not an exception. The company is next to join the slate wars – Android 3.0 Honeycomb is their platform of choice and they will be offering a device in both the 7-inch and the 10.1-inch category.
Both tablets will run on dual-core Tegra CPUs and will have integrated 3G radios. Each device will sport a 5 megapixel main and an “HD” front-facing camera (we’re guessing 2 megapixels) and their multi-touch capacitive screens will sport the resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Naturally, the two new Acer tablets also have Wi-Fi support, but the great news is that they also have integrated HDMI ports.
There is no information about the pricing of either Acer tablet, but they should both be available in April 2011.
