LG will take on its rival Samsung at CES with a trio of 34” new monitors. The high-resolution consists of a flat display with serious gaming chops, and two fashionably curved models.
Sporting the model number 34UM67, the 21:9 gaming-centered display you see above sports AMD FreeSync tech. The latter maintains smooth on-screen action even when the monitor and the GPU are out of sync.
Following next are two curved 3,440 x 1,440 monitors with viewing angles of a whopping 178 degrees. LG 34UC97 is aimed at professional photographers and graphic designers, while the 34UC87M allows easy multi-display setup.
Lastly, LG will showcase a Digital Cinema 4K monitor with a resolution of 4,096 x 2,160 pixels and the ability to display 99.5% of Adobe’s Color Space.
There’s no word from LG on the pricing of the above hardware. We reckon that more details about the monitors will make the rounds next week.
