Yahoo! Weather for Android gets a major update

If you’ve used Yahoo! Weather on iOS 7 you know that it’s loads better than its Android counterpart. But all of this is now good and past as the Android app just got a visuals-focused update, which brings high-res, fullscreen Flickr photos of the cities you are checking.

The photos come from Flickr’s Project Weather and are relevant to your location. The weather information itself is still well detailed and neatly displayed so you don’t lose any of the app’s actual features. There are revamped widgets in the notification area too.

Other novelties include 10-day forecasts, wind speed and air pressure, sunrise and sunset times, moon phases and more. Head over to the source link for the app.
