The palm wireless charger doesn’t work with the nexus 4 since the palm wireless charger isn’t qi compatible. I suggest getting an energizer qi compatible power mat. BTW I sent this message from my nexus 4 :)

Actually, it has great application. I’ve worked in retail wireless stores for over 10 years and the number of people that damage their charging ports while trying plug/unplug the charger from the phone is astounding. Not having to plug the phone to charge it will reduce the number of damaged phones tremendously. If the charging pads are universal and can be used for multiple phones at the same time for years to come then it most definitely worth the $100 price tag for many people.

You can call this as a beta of wireless charging. Same tech is being researched for electric cars and for that they are trying to increase the distance, but increasing the distance means increase in power consumption and radiation. They are trying to control both and increase the range, but its gonna take time, till then they want to make wireless charging a main stream and household name.Soon all your devices, including TV and such will work and charge wirelessly. But will need to give it some time.

Why would someone with practical brain will buy this stuff? whats the point of charging via wireless means when you need to put the phone on the hub? I done see any serious usage of this technology unless charging can be done from at least 10-12 feet across
