Windows on PC is terrible. Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP al crash several times even though I have a 4GB RAM and 3.0 Ghz Processor with no viruses etc.
Mac OS is better anyday

They Just got their image down by this competition..!!
It would have been a lot better that they just gave him his price at the first place and now they are regretting it
Whatever of course it is a part of the plan, i mean who would want to give goods of about $2000 to people for free
But sure this was not at all good.. i mean why do anything that would put the company to shame and make them apologize. That’s a Shame!!

I never trust anything from Microsoft. The only thing “smoked” I gather from this story is MSFT’s reputation again.

The thing is, it is actually faster. im not sure why they try and stack it in their favour. as it would win about 70% of the time without a slanted competition.

sad times though, massive MS and WP fan. bit gutted, but at least they paid up. instead of having the guy whacked, as i imagine a fruit based smart phone maker would do

WP7 doesn’t need dual core or quad core phones, but it sure does need to put in a lot more in their software. And yeah, they have to do something productive instead of these stupid competitions. Respecting the customer is a must, even if they’re users of OSs of other companies.

Talk about smartphones please. People those make full use of smartphones are better off with Android than using the limiting WP7. If customizing and playing around with phones is not your cup of tea, stay away from Android by all means. But saying it sucks just shows your ignorance. Neither Android sucks, nor does WP7. But in terms of how much both of them let you do, Android wins.
