most of the crowd is using windows by default. It is not that great, just updated look and same old think inside. Productivity for each windows is exactly the same as its old version.
Unlike iOS, Androi and Linux (Ubuntu in particular). I will give brief example with Ubunty – where update of controls, pin and multi-desktop increases performance by 30% at least – without touching the applications. How does windows do that. Windows 8 is just new marketing name and shell for the old crap you are buying for decades.
Ubuntu is great and it is stupid that windows is priced within the hardware when I just do not need this Sh*t in my laptop.
And yes, no matter the security measures – it always can be cracked.

I’ve been running the RTM version since late August. Legit, mind you, I have a MSDN subscription. I still feel like I’m not using it correctly. I don’t rely on the Metro side of things as much as I probably should, but all and all I have the tiles for when I want them and use the Desktop just like I always have when I need to get work done. Having a laptop with a touchscreen, or something like Surface will probably make it a million times more useful, but as is I like the OS.

I don’t know why people defending file-sharing bring profit into it.

File-sharing is a competiting distribution platform, if a company doesn’t want to compete, they might not lose profit but they certainly won’t gain as much as they could.

MS is so large the amount of pirates vs consumers is a huge difference. Doubtful that people pirating MS will cause much loss in profit. Esspecially because MS will Dominate the new PCs and Laptops to come out with the new OS.

Waiting for Windows 9 (or Windows blah blah watever it’s called)! Not fallin 4 d metro crap! My Windows 7 Ultimate n even my good ol XP is far far better than this bricks n tiles mosaic! Thx but no thx Billy boy! I’ll wait if u can deliver d goods next time in ur usual Windows Hit n Sh*t Cadence!
