Windows 7 is a cheap ripoff of the KDE 3.5 desktop enviroment for linux…
Just type in google windows 7 vs kde and ul see what i mean..
On the functional side NOTHING has changed…vista windows 7 and xp are the same os.
Only difference is the fancy new UI but under the hood nothing has changed.
The dark ages are ending and open source OS-es will start to dominate homes and offices.SO windows has a bleak future.

A hacked running one is the one i tried too but downloads of all updates was something not possible as one of the security updates discovered all possible exploits & brought up the 3 day limit. I can run it genuine if i turn off auto-updates…..but you need the updates!

If any one knows of a pure genuine copy, ultimate 32/64 bit ultimate……..links torrents plz? :P

I always turn off all that stupid eye-candy gadget and animation(who really need them?) And after that windows 7 run like… OMG!
Even on 3years old hardware you can open 6-8 raw in photoshop, blender with huge 3d project and few small programs and it only sometimes slow down. That is proof that this system is just perfect(comparing to vista and xp) :-P

I didnt pay for my Windows 7 Ultimate and its genuine and updateble^^

My 2 laptops :-) run on Windows 7. Very good OS only the Explorer hangs/freezes once in a while. No more annoying UAC prompts.

I’ve always hated Vista for all theses reasonscouns : Too much PC requirements to run, Too slow, takes Too much CPU Usage, Too much incompatibilities, Too unuserfriendly, Too much errors with games app, Too……… the list is countless. In fact I never intalled it on my pc. I used it several times on some friends Notebook an PC, it always ran slowy on that power machine though so I kept holdin on to my XP. But after testing 7 iI told myself that it’s time to move on to something new and drop my XP cause I’ve finally found an OS that worths it.

this os is brilliant! I just love it. On the other hand, too bad that windows phone 7 will suck big time, I know it’s still not released, however, knowing that it will be similar to the iphone regarding the attitude alone makes it go down the hills for me.
