It's a good thing what Google's trying to do in terms of modern computing. Having an internet-oriented OS is likely to be more applicable to internet shops. Blogs, picture uploads and the likes are what most people do today when it comes to internet. But for personal and home computing, people would still prefer the good ole OS like Windows and Mac. I mean, privacy for personal files, for one, is still important and that's something we can't give up, right? I am not saying it's gonna be a failure, for people will always like to try something new, but I guess side by side with a traditional OS will be likely as far as this new OS will ever gonna get. And may I quote, "I can do a million thing on my laptop without being connected to the internet." Certainly true.. :)

i think what most people dont know is that our OS (any OS) is an instance of Internet Explorer. Whenever IE is corrupted in windows or other OSes you will encounter a remote desktop warning and other issues...so this will have a SSD drive because of the fast boot time, cause HDD can never boot that fast....google is bringing the same thing but which is unknown to the masses..
