IVE connected my mhl to my samsung tv via a hdmi cable and connected the charger but my tv cannot find the signals, or sometimes it just flashes on and off and i have tried it in aircraft mode as well, any ideas ?

My galaxy s2 wont show a picture when hooked up to my samsung tv with an mhl cable from frys . Do i need mhl cable with a charger pigtail also?

I connect the MHL adapter with the HDMI to the TV then to the phone it worked well one then the next day I try to do the same thing but nothing happening. Has anyone experience this

Not only what you said but I played Angry birds on my phone via the TV. I can even rotate the screen except like you said the main menu. I even checked the weather with MyCast and it still rotated. This is so much cooler then my HTC Evo. I paid $9 for the MHL connector and $2 for the HDMI Connector which is male at both ends. Times change. The new 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update is coming soon for the Sprint Galaxy STM II Epic 4G

the problem of rotating homescreen has been solved in xperia neo.

you connect it from a hdmi cable and things work like charm.
even the homescreen turns into landscape mode.

Hi!
so…you plug in the cable and the screen of the phone is automatically sent to the tv, right?
Or do you need to navigate through the menus of the phone to activate the output?

I’m looking for a solution to transfer data from a galaxy s2 with a broken screen (but hopefully everything else is working), which makes it impossible to connect it as a usb storage device to a pc.
