@Umar>>Well, the price of such equipment is a regional thing and I didn't want to get into that really. But since you insist - I got it for free after signing a 2-year contract for 2GB of wireless data (15 euro monthly). You can probably buy the same grade netbook even cheaper in the US, but European prices are higher. So it's basically a great deal.

@sakundes>>The amount of shared video memory is a system setting - yes. There is a maximum amount that the video adapter can handle anyways, so you probably won;t be able to dedicate as much as 512MB. But you don't have to anyways, cause you won't see any noticeable improvement. I keep my office PC set at 64MB as I don't even need 256MB. I prefer spending the available RAM for other productivity applications.

@usmandulmial>>Generally, you can *unlock* multi-touch functionality, if you've got a Synaptics trackpad. You just have to install a patched driver to do so. It turned out the VNB102 trackpad is not manufactured by Synaptics so the usual tricks don't work.
Viewsonic don't even have any trackpad drivers up at their Support site and the trackpad is currently recognized as a PS/2 mouse, which means it's using a generic Windows pointing device driver. That's one of the negatives of not going for mainstream hardware. I'm still waiting on Viewsonic's support answer what's the manufacturer of the trackpad.
