Where is Youtube and Gmail for WP ? Both are very popular on iOS and Android and i bet used by majority of users every single day.

But they’re not bad, for that time at least. Gingerbread was still fresh out of the oven, so that’s out of the equation, FroYo was rubbish, WinMo even more. Their functionality also isn’t wildly limited, file manager, check. Mass storage mode? Check, the only difference is that it doesn’t have a fancy touchscreen, and to get a decent experience from touch smartphone at that time you’ll have to fork a decent amount of money, froyo on mid to low device was laughable at best, it need a hummingbird to shine, and honestly at that time the only other competition was Symbiont, and you know just how well those thing run…

Why? There were awesome phones by HTC.

HD2 on Windows Platform

Evo 4G, Thunderbolt 4G, Desire on Android Gingerbread, Froyo, or Eclair

And from Samsung we had the Galaxy S, and the Galaxy Tab, again running Android Froyo. And Froyo was good enough, I suppose.
