MZR: You call it a closed OS, but there really isn’t that many negatives for it being closed. You may not be able to play flash without an app or custimize every single icon. But it has for the most part always run smoother and more fluid then Android as well as having a larger developer base. The Transformer prime is one of the few Android tablets that I would consider but specific apps and quick developer response was why I choose the iPad. I use my iPad to voice sync my lecture notes and annotate my PDFs on. Notes Plus is one of the few apps that made me move from a laptop to a tablet. Not to mention a 5 hour lecture day and I only drop to 80% battery on the iPad. While my laptop with supposed 8 hr battery life barely makes 5 hours.

I most probably will buy this . I dont think the samsung galaxy tab 11.6 will be out any time soon :( … Anyway, I will never touch the new iPad :)

Android OS can never be updated to the latest version. So much fragmentation. It is a mess! And manufacturers are making all similar devices which they cannot maintain.

Transformer Prime is the best Android tablet. I have been using it for over a month now and it works as smooth as silk.

I am very happy that I chose Transformer Prime over iPad. And now the feature updates from ASUS are making me even happier.
