The Lumia 820 is Nokia’s greatest tree-hugger to date, and the Finns are very proud of it

Nokia is very proud of its environmentally friendly approach to phone making and the new Nokia Lumia 820 is among its best efforts in this regard. The phone is made from recycled materials and bio-plastics (made from inedible plants) and doesn’t use a number of materials that cause environmental issues.

The phone itself can be fully recycled, just like its packaging, which is made from 60% recycled materials to begin with. Check out a video that explains Nokia’s recycling efforts after the break.
