Me too. I use Xperia p? Can’t see the lag you talking about. Nokia don’t lag coz it doesn’t have live wall paper. No wall paper at all. Just plain tile on transition

You got that right on the first day. For the second day it’s like 0.5 hour each for talk, web, and video, and 10.5 hours standby before the battery runs out.

Just to share here that a lot L620 actually having some issue with the multi touch screen. So incase you are a perfectionist, stay away from it.

Yes, that’s where I beg to differ, true multitasking is amazing to have (it was amazing on Symbian, Android’s doesn’t compare to that ‘outdated OS’). Neither WP’s or Android’s is superior or inferior, it depends on which you like. Mobile devices are becoming more and more powerful, so limiting these things seems silly to me. True, battery tech isn’t improving accordingly, but still better than having no option, specially when it lets you automate things, like scheduling a tweet or using something like Tasker to automate tasks, all of which need a service to run in the background.

Of course, that’s just my opinion, I like OS that can do it all, instead of limiting a few things and then saying ‘not everyone needs to do the advanced stuff so we don’t have this feature’, like file access or the ability to download any kind of file (i know a guy who has only his Android smartphone, and he loves that he can do many things without needing a computer).

But I understand the need to make things simple and limited so that general users don’t run into trouble and battery doesn’t get drained due to a rogue app. And I’ve used all three OS and currently use Android and iOS, and I like them all for what they provide.

P.S: one thing Google could do is put an 8 app limit like WP8 and BB10, and just put an option to disable that in developer options, which is hidden itself in Android 4.2. :-P

I still have and use two android phones and two android tablets, and I rooted them all. I also have iphone 5 and ipad 2, and I jb them also. Now that I have this new 620, although I know that wp8 has its limitations and shortcomings, I consider its multitasking policy is superior than android’s. IMHO, even IOS is better than android in this regard as I think conserving battery life should be the top priority in mobile devices, above the ability to have multitasking capability for every process just for the sake of it.

Hey man.. Believe me..
ICS on Xperia P is laggy like hell and showed no improvement what so ever regarding battery life..
It will work OK(OK speed) for 1 or 2 days… Then it will show it’s color..
BTW, this is from a former xperia user..
