Technical specs for the new Transformer TF300T leaked

Earlier this month we saw some leaked images of a new Eee Pad. We now know the specs of the TF300T as well.

Although this is not as robust as the Transformer Prime TF700T announced earlier this year, it should nonetheless provide a more affordable alternative for consumers not wanting to dish out the announced $599 MSRP when the TF700T comes out later this year.

The new ASUS Transformer TF300T is expected to run Ice Cream Sandwich with a massive 1.2GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor. It will feature a 10.1 inch display at 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, as well as an 8MP camera, 1.2MP front-facing. Inside, there is a 16GB of hard disk space alongside 1GB of RAM, and it supports WiFi and Bluetooth. It also has a MicroHDMI socket and a microSD expansion slot.

No word on pricing or availability of the TF300T yet.
