Seriously doubt they would even consider that option of unbanning banned consoles (i imagine for illegally cracking the system etc) as that would amount to nothing more than shooting themselves in the foot and then again for the hell of it.

Would make more sense to bundle it cheap as hell with new xboxes so that they a) increase their sales for xbox, and b) get all those people who were ‘banned’ back onto the networks (and maybe reinstate trophies or something like that)

Bundle=less cost for consumer but usually makes loss for companies in short term and much much more profit in long term because the first priority for every video game console maker is to grow up their install base as fast as they can.
