hi sir, i would like to comment, that sony has lost in the phone market. i would rather say its a business strat, because sony/erricson exist not only in the phone arena. they are also a manufacturer of spareparts of a phone. and as above said, they are mainly doing the iphone 4/4s/5 bsi cameras which in turn, might be the agreement was apple will buy their products, and leave the 2011 2012 for them to make a boast to iphone sales. sony has an indirect revenue on them btw. and this coming 2013, will be the year for sony to outshine every one. i dont think by build and design other than apple, other company has done better than sony. eg: arc s was a placticy looks, but dont judge on it, i threw my arc s and has dove like 5 meter against the cement (hallway) as i am trying to stop it from falling, i even hit it and go further, i was terrified, yet smiled because it has no scratch at all. its a solid thing. and i own sII and my gf has sIII i think they are not as solid as sony.

even if Samsung launches a cardboard based phone and name it Galaxy S4 it would still sell more than next Sony Flagship and that’s a truth. Sammy has worked hard for 3 years to make their own niche and it would take a lot of work from any manufacturer to surpass them.

i have never said or even thought that Sony’s next flagship would beat Sammy’s S4. I was just implying that the way Sony is providing more and more options/help for enthusiasts and developers would surely pull some more customers from competition and it surely doesn’t mean they would become No.1 player overnight.

I will be honest.

Every year , i heard about “iPod” killer in 2000s and “iPhone” killer but none of them came close to them even one year except S3 which has impressed many but S3 is still way behind iPhone 5′s popularity and sales.

This is also same , everytime other companies say galaxy killer but its impossible because Sony cannot set price as Samsung does and also Samsung has insane popularity compared to Sony (these days)

There was an article of Sony saying “We make a competitive product for S3 and iPhone 5″ and by the time they launch it , S4 and iPhone 5S are already here.

Use PCCompanion to do an update of your phone.After it tells you continuously that it is searching for an update, simply tell it to do a repair of your phone. That repair, when it ended, took my Neo V from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 . Believe me, my Neo V is now blazing fast after I did a reset. I can’t root it for now but I have my nuked phone back again.
