Because Sony's UI is simple and elegant. The icons look better than the others' cartoonish/colorful icons and everything blends together, from the UI to the app drawer and the overall physical design of the Xperias. :) Though I understand that some people think it's ugly, it all boils down to the user's preference. You can change the UI anyway using different launchers from the market. :)

i never understood 1 thing... why would i want to view a movie or a picture or write or read a txt on my phone from weird angles... i still think the viewing angles on cellphones is just a waste of money and added cost for consumers for something thats totally useless, I sold my GS3 after 3 weeks of usage and bought a Sony Xperia S... and i have been in love with the sony brand ever since... (also own a iphone 4. .. not 4s just a iphone 4) but it doesnt compares to the sheer goodness and uniqueness of Sony

When you know that V is IP57 certified and water proof you must agree it is a compact and light device. If screen size is what you want then T is better. That is the point of diversity.

Sony phones are good...but now they have WAAYYY too many phones.
The NXT phones from early this year...
The Go and Acro S some months back...
And now the 'new' lineup with the T, J, V and all...

Normally a brand makes *one* flagship, a couple of mid-levels and a few more low-end phones.
Sony has at least 3 phones that fit their flagship definition (ion, Acro S and now T).
Pull yourself together Sony.
