Sony Tablet S gets an Android 4.0 update and a price drop

The Sony Tablet S is currently receiving its due serving of ICS.

The Android 4.0 update is available over the air and includes an enhanced lockscreen, direct SD card access, folder support, web browser improvements, screenshot capture and more.

If you own a Tablet S you should get a notification, prompting you to update or you could manually check out the software update menu under settings . Here’s a video outlining the major parts of the update, courtesy of Sony.

If you don’t own a Tablet S, but feel tempted to buy one now, you should know Sony’s offering an instant $50 rebate on its website and a free engraving.
