Here, from a tech blog notorious for it's bias towards Apple no less.
http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/26/lumia-920-low-light-shootout/

The iP5 camera comes 2nd place at best.

And next year that iP5 camera will be succeeded by a *slightly* improved version which will cost you a bundle to upgrade. Genius really. Get people to pay premium price for incremental upgrades annually.

I predict NFC, screen PPI bump, and a small camera MP bump for iP6/iP5s/whatever. It will be "Revolutionary, the most advanced, and something no one else has ever done before!"... Meh.

He refer to the art value of the picture (which can't be acquired using any technology), not the technical image value (where you see sharpness, vivid color, etc). I sometimes see a great quality pictures, but that's it. The only thing in my mind was, wow ... the camera must be great. But when I see mid-low quality pictures with great sense of art, I was amazed and thought, wow ... the photographer is damn great.

See the differences? We can compete to ones with better equipment by buying an equal or even better equipment. But to compete with someone who has great art talent, this will need us to train and train and still doesn't know whether we can reach them or not.

That's not what the article is for at all. A decent photographer with a DSLR can blow your iPhone out of the water. The video's ACTUAL purpose was to laugh at the people who buy a DSLR 'because they're better' when they have no idea how to use one.

Good choice for target. The "real" photographers has been ridiculing them too so the backlash wont be as hard as if the ads target DSLR users in general. They're just bullying the obviously weak.

I used to mock DSLR losers too with my pocket camera. But I was pretty much a macro freak because it's the only distance that can give me a good depth of field. After the camera died, I bought a DSLR, and now I can try some serious stuff like HDR tone mapping and even astrophotography.

However, losers exist. But you can't blame people for buying a powerful device. Maybe now they are indeed DSLR morons, but one day they might learn things and snap quality pictures. Some say iPhone camera is better than any DSLR, well, maybe true (for them). But just because you can't snap a better photo with a DSLR, doesn't mean DSLR is pointless.

Anyway, lets share some flickrs. :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/knopfman/
