Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini and X10 mini pro get rooted

Another couple has just joined the happy family of rooted Android-powered devices. Guys, say Hi to the rooted Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini and its QWERTY-fied twin, the X10 mini pro.

I have some great news to share with you: it only takes some clicks and a few minutes to root your tiny little Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini. By the way, the so called Exploid method will grant root access to X10 mini pro users as well.

Rooting gives you access to all system files and allows you to remove useless preloaded applications, to change boot images or to use themes, to move apps and cache to the SD card, to enable tethering and, of course, to run apps requiring root. And so much more.

There are only a few steps you have to go through but make sure you understand what you’re reading and most importantly – what you’re actually doing. After all, you might end up with a bricked device in your hands. This will also probably void your warranty as well.

If you’re still into rooting your X10 mini or X10 mini pro, follow that link and see how it’s all done.
