A230, A330 and A380 are new designs. if you like the ‘good old A200′ you should look at A500 or A550, both of which sport more conventional designs and better specs.

basically A2x0 and A3x0 aim to reduce weight and size to encourage people to migrate from compacts, but IMO they’re not doing too good a job at it. perhaps the NEX cameras may have a better shot at it.

What is wrong with Sony recently ? just compare this new cheap looking DSLR they have made with the good old Alpha 200 , Body is made of plastic and it’s plasticy as well , Hand Grip sucks … it’s not sony anymore. I was About to buy an Alpha 380 which turned into a Canon 450D in the shop , only because of the material sony is using for it’s body and lenses.
