the most recent sharp phone i bought i had it imported from Japan, and that barely works here. Over half the tech on that phone is just far too advanced for Europe; ever heard of 1Seg?

Hmm … looks like the microphone pinhole is on the front. I suppose you treat it like a desktop speakerphone for making / receiving calls. If that’s the case and the mic and speakers are the right stuff, very nice unit indeedy.

I probably wouldn’t have a use for it, but I can definitely see a niche it would fill.

People. Read again. It weigh 230grams. I’m pretty sure you ain’t as weak as to get sore arms holding the device in the right posture to take pictures with the 5MP camera. Sure it ain’t really nicely implemented, but then this ain’t a dedicated DSLR or digicam. You’re better spending your money elsewhere if that is what you are after.

It’s just another netbook, a rather different offering compared to what Asus, Acer etc etc are selling, but a netbook nonetheless. A 5inch screen with 230g mass. Heck, I would snap that up instantly.
