Microsoft announced it’s ready with the first service packs for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Both SPs are already handed to Microsoft’s OEM partners and we can download them on 22 February.
The MSDN and TechNet subscribers plus the Volume License users will get the updates almost a week earlier – on 16 February.
The services packs will include all important updates released up to date plus some new ones as well as some new features in Windows Server 2008 R2 – Dynamic Memory and RemoteFX. If you want to know more about them check this blog post.
