Samsung second battery for Galaxy S4 with dedicated charger hits US for $50

Samsung is selling a replacement second battery for $50 on its website and includes a dedicated battery charger in the bundle.

If you opt to get just the original 2600 mAh battery from Samsung it will cost you $39.99 so for another 10 bucks on top it seems like a good idea to also get the separate charger. The battery will ship to customers in up to 10 business days if you order it now.

We’ve always given bonus points to manufacturers who’ve opted for a user-replaceable battery in their devices. It’s just more logical to be able to change the battery once it starts getting old and tired and being able to carry a spare unit can be vital advantage on some occassions.
