I happened to get my Galaxy Note in Hong Kong and it apparently happened to have the Germany Firmware. When the JB update was announced, I was in Nepal and luckily when I happened to connect the device with the latest version of Kies, it instantly showed the JB update. Took me 3 hours in total (Blame the connection here) but I managed to get JB installed without any glitches. The new user experience sure is great given I was stuck with Gingerbread for the past 1 year. The only lag I notice is when I open up the “Wigdet Section” in the Application Menu. Probably takes time to generate all those thumbnails. Else, its great. Oh, the battery life, no change there. Drains like usual until you’re on the power saving mode with the Wifi off. Any queries do hit me up!
