I remember reading up on oled tvs, laser tvs years ago.. Laser tvs never aventuated unfortunately.. But why so long for oled, it’s years old technology!!

this is why samsung tv’s do so well…general public look at a screen and if the colors are over saturated they think its better color, galaxy amoled screens definitely look blue when on a white screen, simply look at a comparison on youtube between sony arc vs gsII web browsing, the gsII wins hands down..but youll see how off the whites are.

Mike Gonzalez you are talking shit… you probably never used any Super AMOLED phones, because nothing can match beautiful contrasts and colours it has. All other screens look completely washed-out comparing with them.

keep begging for display technologies from asian supergiants. meanwhile samsung is making OLED tvs powered by android. samsung makes windows PC too. have you ever imagined what a OLED TV with integrated microsoft’s Kinnect technology will be like? you dont need any remote, you can flick channels with your hand gesture from distance. your TV will recognize your face and switch to your fav channels autometically. it will detect your family members and will restrict the programs which are not suitable for family viewing. this is how you do innovation. fooling dumb people with shiny icons and tricky marketing is not innovation.

This is the reason why we selected LG for our iphone4 screens.
We selected the award winning IPS LCD Retina Display.

so stop talking shit, the only thing AMOLED is good at is black, basically cuz pixels are off
