You
are the Pathetic person here with a name like “toomanysamsung” ...you are here only to bash Samsung, which means you are a Troll and a Samsung
hater. You don’t own a SIII !! You are
probably one of those lost Sony fanboys.
Sony which has had financial losses for over 8 quarters with its outdated product range..Samsung
and Nikon have both announced Android cameras ONLY, and neither has been released to the public
yet. Probably both getting the final
touches. And the Samsung specs are better than the
Nikon.Perhaps you should keep your biased, unknowledgeable opinions to yourself
and read some reviews and update your tech knowledge. You personally may not
want these Android cameras, but for many, they will be popular. They are for
amateurs with many frills, including 21x optical zoom, social media options etc
etc. That is their selling points, as
the majority of people don’t want complicated or professional

when u have nothing else to bash, you bash on my username, pathetic.
I own SIII, I do not need to prove it to you or anyone else. I'm happy with SIII for what it offers, I own a Tab 2 7" which I carry around when I do not want to carry my laptop, I got MacBook Pro for my laptop, I got Canon for my camera need, I got Sony Xperia Ray as be 2nd phone. When I need a camera, Yes I will carry my Canon. But when I do not have my Canon with me, my SIII is more than enough to get the job done. Don't feel sorry for me, I don't need any as I'm only go for the things I need, and I'm not blind gadget & brand freak like those Apple and Samsung fanboys

Just some info here.
The Nikon Coolpix S800C Android camera has not been released yet. It was announced a few days ago, just before
the Samsung Android camera.

So, who will be the first to release an Android camera is
yet to be seen. Nikon or Samsung ?

Also the Nikon Coolpix S800C only has a 10x optical zoom and
only runs Android 2.3.3. Which means it
probably could never run Android 4.03.
Also a small 3.4 “screen, and a small 1,050mAh battery.

There is also the Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera with Android, but only a 3 x
optical zoom

You really have no idea and I feel sorry for you. Your
name sums it all up....you are a Samsung hater and don’t own a SIII. “toomanysamsung”

In fact a SIII would be too high tech for you. What are you even doing in these technology
forums ?

A normal person carrys a
camera when they know it’s needed.....do you understand that ?

Trying to explain the
merits of a new innovative product to you is impossible. Perhaps you need a $10 disposable camera ?

Duh... I bet I have to speak Korean in order to communicate with Samsung fan boys... You guys are the same as Apple fan boys, whatever coming out from the brand, you guys will say they are magnificent. If I were to carry around a camera which will not have good image quality and pricey at the same time for the sake of having those self claim innovation inside... I rather carry a professional camera with the same price range which gives me the image quality that I want. That will complement my SIII all together which gives me versatility. End of Story.

You just don’t get it, do you? Many Android phones only have a single core
800mhz processor. This camera is
innovative because it has combined so much into a small compact camera. No other brand has come close to all these combined
specs.

It is not designed to
be always carried like a phone. You forget that it is a camera with a 21 x
optical zoom for videos or photos, something that the SIII can’t do. Yes, the optical zoom mode works in video mode
also.

I have the current Samsung model WB150F with an 18 x Optical, 24mm lens and
wifi. It uses a Schneider Kreuzach lens
and takes great pics. It does not have
Android. It has a basic auto mode and a
decent manual mode. And there is no other camera with similar specs. It can also zoom while taking movies. From my personal experience, I know how good
this camera is and this new model with better specs will be a success.

Imagine your SIII with a 21 x optical lens than can be used
for taking video or photos. That’s what this camera is all about. It’s innovative because it’s a first with all
these features combined.

No other brand
has come close to such a combination of great specs. Just no phone calls or not at present anyway
because it’s a camera..
