You are a photographer, and you also know the fact that diff btw p&s cameras and smartphone cameras is minimal. so why create new category when the other two can be merged together? and about innovation, what’s new in this? the same p&s camera and the same gs3, just merged together. what world need is a simpler tech and not so complicated one.

Another point is that they are phones;we should not compare a full fledged camera to phones-no matter how good their cameras are(atleast for the now)! I am looking at the extreme workflow possibilities that a “connected camera” can bring to a photographer like me!And I think Samsung just paved the way for major OEMs to follow!
