Samsung Ativ Odyssey made a trip to our office, here is a hands-on

For some reason, Samsung decided not to bring its Ativ S Windows Phone 8 flagship to the United States. Instead, the Korean giant released the Verizon Exclusive, LTE toting, and seriously pocketable Samsung Ativ Odyssey.

The Samsung Ativ Odyssey looks and feels a lot like a mini version of the Ativ S. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset with a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU. There’s a gig of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot. The display is a 4″ Super AMOLED unit with WVGA resolution. A 5MP camera, full connectivity suite and 2100mAh user-replaceable battery complete the highlights of the device’s spec sheet.
