Microsoft’s monopoly of buying rights for major game developers caused sony to fall behind. but now that every major game developer and distributor wants to work with SONY because of PS3′s hardware capabilities and most importantly the BLU-RAY format. Sony won the rights making Blu-Ray the only universal standard for the next generation movies and games.

When Microsoft lost HD-DVD, they knew they lost it. even in the near future Microsoft will have to pay SONY to buy the license to use BLU-RAY. thats “if” they release a new Xbox.

this is a corporate level war, something that us consumers dont understand. After 2 years of earning respect from developers and realization, now sony decided to make money by selling more consoles and therefore pay the hackers in millions. just like apple did with iphone. to sell more iphones, they themselves introduced software jailbreaking through a different channel also known as “HACKERS”.

this hack on ps3 for pirated games is a corporate decision, an inside job. so that they can sell more consoles and have blu-ray in every home.

wake up people and realize what is the best bang for a buck. Answer is SONY PS3. REASON: all in one machine, has built in wifi, normal cell fone’s bluetooth headset can be used with PS3 for online voice chat during online gaming. the newly announced wii like motion controllers will be out this year. playing games online is free… last weekend i saw 2.8 million ppl online on modern warfare 2 on PS-Network. can you believe that. has a blu ray disc player. i buy blu-ray super hi-def movies and play em on PS3. i download movies and play divx files through PS3… this thing is my Stereo for songs. I have a bose home theatre system connected with PS3 through its optical out.
i have a 1 Terabyte western digital Hard drive in my ps3 that i added later. i have a bluetooth keyboard and a mouse placed on my side table, good for browsing the internet for stocks.

plus it looks good with 55 inch sony LED TV, placed in an apartment of an MBA holder employed with one of the world’s leading financial institutions.

i dont think microsoft’s Xbox can do all that.
