I don’t care about the thickness of the phone… (for me) Pureview size is good enough it’s not like Nokia 7650… I just hope the quality of the upcoming pureview EOS with WP OS will be good because WP lacking this important features :

1- face detection (Symbian got it)

2-Zooming while recording video (Symbian got it)

3-Very bad quality in 100% crops (Symbian all the way)

4-problems in the white balance (Symbian is much better)

5- the contrast and dynamic range are horrible (Symbian all the way…even 701 fixed focus do very awesome job)

6- ISO doesn’t do the perfect effect like the Symbian.

I bet Nokia can’t fix all this bad WP bugs in imaging section…even after the portico update the lumia 920 doesn’t do the perfect job in the day light but it becomes better. let we just wait and see what Nokia will do with their coming new camera phone…I wish all goodness for Nokia.

Probably not. Panasonic will rather sell this to willing phone camera makers. Who doesn’t want better light performance from a camera? Nobody, so all HTCs and Samsungs will strike a deal with Panasonic to sell the next best cameraphone. Maybe even the fruit company, who knows.

pureview sensor makes the phone significantly thicker. unless nokia can come up pv phone with sub 10mm thickness, i opt for, iphone with panasonicsensor

Camera phone???

I’m just waiting for the new Nokia pureview EOS…I know that WP OS is very baaaaaaaaaad in terms of imaging quality unlike Symbian which is the best ever to handle any camera in any phone…Hoping that Nokia is on the right track by developing the imaging algorithms for WP

the second pic has better brightness and contrast, you can actually see more details also.
The improvement from the first picture is like 35 to 45% percent.
