It’s interesting. All the hype with Ouya died down a while ago. It’s been pretty flat for a while. I’m not sure how this will do, to be honest.

It’s up to developers to sort things like this out.

Like with the game I am working on, I have set it up to be aspect ratio independent and to scale accordingly regardless of resolution.

your logic is very stupid.

PC gaming is very expensive and complicated for the average user. An average guy doesn’t have the time to figure out which CPU to go with GPU on which mother board. Which case to choose? Which cooling?

Which keyboard and mice to choose, at what setting will the game run at decent frame rates.

With xbox you still get very good graphics for you to pop in the disc, and chill on the sofa.

Everyone has their own priorities. The Ouya has no segment in this market.

xbox360 is being destroyed by PCs from the time it launched. I don’t see anyone complaining about the graphics, performance or the price. Maybe for you it should be free.

Blame google as well! I mean the iPad 3 didn’t ship without anything to utilized the gorgeous retina display, We had Infinity Blade! why didn’t google take the initiative to sort out things with developers to optimize stuff for a flagship device.

You are being silly, do you know actual figures of performance? Will it be drastically better than the iPad 4 or Nexus 10? Tegra 3 is getting destroyed by Adreno 320 with the quad krait CPU’s, The PowerVR GPU’s with the optimized A6X and Samsung’s own Mali-400MP with quad cortex A9

Plus the new Samsung Exynos 5 takes a dump on Tegra 3.

No matter what they do, it won’t be a significant change. I don’t get the point of this unless they release it for under 75$.

Check your facts and search the web by yourself before telling others to do the same.

Well, the One X and S3 are same thing as a PC and a PS3…PC is by far more powerful, but it’s not dedicated so unless you spend a ton of cash, chances are PS3 will look better…the OUYA won’t have a million services and apps running in the background so it’ll probably be able to squeeze out better performance than the phones.

But yeah, I’m a bit interested why didn’t they push it to let’s say Tergra4 or something else from the latest (hell, even Mali-400MP)…don’t know, we’ll have to wait and see…still, I’m personally more concerned about smoothness rather than visuals so as long as it can maintain 60fps, I’ll be happy performance wise…but guess we’ll have to wait and see ^_^
