The desktop site still uses Flash unless you enable the HTML5 version, and embedded YT videos always use Flash AFAICT.

And the fact that the Youtube apps on platforms other than Android kinda sucks. It really sucks on Symbian.

As far as I know, you don’t need Flash for Youtube videos. I don’t have Flash installed on my phone it works okay on the default browser compared to the official app.
