Enough time to holidays, sell in other countries, more 3G frequencies (to these countries), marketing.

I’m guessing it’s the exorbitant data plans they charge which is putting off buyers. I don’t know why the releases in USA/UK/Europe be like in India. Here none of the new phones comes with a mandatory data plan, except the iPhone (which has been a major failure in India anyway). I’d say Google should do away with the data plan or reduce it significantly.

Most people need to examine a phone before before buying. They also demand reliable customer service. These are where Google fails. No matter how good a phone is, if the Sales/Customer Service/Support model fails to provide an acceptable experience, most people will go somewhere else. The Nexus One isn’t the only fish in the smartphone sea, and a lot of new “fish” are on their way this spring. It’s going to be sink or swim for Google.

Bad timing after the Christmas & New Year shopping fatigue. But looking at the specifications, it’s just another touch screen smartphone with all the specs below may already launched by HTC, Samsung, Nokia. Most of us are looking for something new like.. a 3D screen where you can grap things off the screen, super camera…12 mega, Xenon flash, optical zoom or a virtual qwerty key board.

Absolutely. If they’re selling the phone unlocked anyways they should just agree to ship it anywhere with a proviso that it’s not guaranteed to work. I just bought an e72, but I would’ve gotten the android if it were released here in Canada.
