I’m more bothered by the fact that they want to change so much for a graphics card that was meant to be mid range… (AMD’s 7 series were priced so high yet delivered relatively average gains as a next gen card, hence Nvidia could release their mid range card as the top line cards. The 670 is actually a very short card… totally in line with a mid range card)

I’m not really liking the kepler series honestly, I was impressed that they left hotclocks and managed to put 3 times the Cuda cores (albeit slower core per core) from its predecessor but they drop their balls in the GPGPU performance to HD7970, and they were not the absolute winner in every game benchmark yet the price were a still higher than the HD7xxx series. I commend their power efficiency but it’s just a matter of time before AMD could produce a new batch of 7970 with less leakage and lower consumption thus more overclock headroom like the upcoming HD7970 GHz Edition.
