Same problem here, though I don’t need to reboot but have to use process manager to kill the process and restart it.

I downloaded and installed the 11.5 update (service pack 2) earlier this week to my DNS 11.0 Premium on my Windows 7 system. After working on a Microsoft Word document for about 30 minutes, the document and DNS 11.5 freeze. i either have to wait about 15 minutes for the system to self-unfreeze or simply restart my computer. It has happened 4 times since installing the update. I did not have that problem before installing the update. In short, DNS 11.5 DOESN’T WORK!
BUT, TO GET NUANCE ASSISTANCE, I WILL HAVE TO PAY THEM $10!
