Good observations, especially coming from a hobo :p

From what I understand, OIS works on 2 axises and rotation isn’t one of them. Makes one wonder if a future software update will add digital stabilization to compensate for the axises not covered by OIS and also reduce brightness sensor sensitivity and the annoying pulse focusing.

I think I’m gonna pass on the 920 and wait for Pureview phase 3…

My friend, how many people in this world are “serious photographers”? And exactly how many “serious photographers” will have his “serious camera” at hand when his first born suddenly gets up and attempts to take his/her first steps in a poorly lit bedroom? What if he/she tries it when you’re out at the mall and didn’t bring your bulky camera?

Random priceless moments like these happen all the time and to properly capture it you’d need a really, really good backup camera that you carry with you all the time. Something like a compact micro four thirds you hang around your neck wherever you go, or just a good phone camera like the One S, the Lumia 808 / 920 or the iPhone 5. I just can’t recommend the GS3 or Note 2 since experience has shown that they perform pretty badly in poorly lit areas.

Find out if any of your FB friends use the phones I mentioned and checkout their galleries. You’ll see what I’m talking about.

Did anybody notice NOKIA 920 was strugling with Blue, gray shade of sky & clouds. between 40sec-50sec as the phone move even the cloud shade changes.

THat’s is the same answer provided for every Apple Fanboy, their products need an update but there is anything wrong with them, but if another phone plataform need it is total mess, please be aware, apple is just the name and no more, quality materials???, new technology??, that kind of thing dead with long ago. maybe who needs and update are the apple fanboys not the apple hardware it self.. By the way, I have an Xperia Play which beat every single Iphone that I did met until today.

iPhone will be eliminated from the map soon if Apple is not going to do anything, I’m quite dissapointed by the lack of creativity in the design itself and the awkward 4 inch screen which is taller instead of both taller and wider dimension. The lightning connector and the slim waistline doesn’t help much either. Apple is only good for one thing and that is called, the iPad. You tampered the results already when you put the phones to a stand. The stand acts as a steadicam of sort significantly reducing normal high frequency shake from the hand. Try to hold the phone on hand instead. Also a good test would be to zoom and try to keep the image as steady as possible with the same level of zoom.
