Nokia Lumia 710 for T-Mobile US drops by in front of the camera [VIDEO]

Nokia Lumia 710 for T-Mobile is the first device from the Finnish company to launch in the United States for quite some time. Despite being among the global leaders in market share over the past decade, Nokia has never enjoyed success across the Atlantic. The manufacturer has bet its fortune on the partnership with Microsoft, and the mid-range Nokia Lumia 710 will cautiously lead the push for market share and relevance in America.

A quick look at the spec sheet of the Nokia Lumia 710 will tell you that the device is the typical mid-range Windows Phone 7.5 handset. The smartphone features a 1.4GHz Scorpion CPU and 512MB of RAM. There is 8GB of built-on memory on board, which cannot be expanded further. The screen is a 3.7″ Clear Black LCD unit with WVGA resolution. A 5MP camera, capable of shooting 720p videos is located on the back of the device. A 1300mAh battery is the power source for the handset.

The Nokia Lumia 710 measures come at 119 x 62.4 x 12.5 mm, and its weight tips the scale at the highly acceptable 125 grams. Despite being all plastic, the smartphone feels solidly built and pleasant to handle.

There are no surprises in the software department of the Nokia Lumia 710 either. The smartphone runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango out of the box. Nokia Drive’s free navigation service is aimed at giving it an edge over the competition.
