Nokia HERE Maps land on iOS, brings voice guidance and maps caching

Nokia have released its HERE Maps on iOS. The app is free and brings along voice guided navigation (English) and the option to save maps for offline use.

You can also get traffic information, where it’s available.

The HERE Maps app uses Nokia’s map data and as you could expect is pretty accurate and works really well.

There’s a neat feature called Collections where you can save places you’ve visited. You can also create multiple Collections for different places.

We guess Google may have overplayed their waiting game and Apple Maps will probably get the cold shoulder as it can’t even match HERE Maps on public transit, let alone accuracy.
