Although SAMOLED HD is PenTile, since this, Samsung tries to make PenTile as good as they can, and high resolutions make it very hard to tell the difference. As I mentioned, Samsung used SAMOLED+ (with RGB) in SGSII, but switched to SAMOLED HD (with PenTile) for lesser energy consumption. On the latest phones, if a user wasn&#039;t told it&#039;s PenTile, he/she would probably never know.
