The S ™ - Returns
In my opinion , Android Army (or companies who adopt android) are simply rushers.
Almost all of them. They just try to push product one after the other using same software and adding their own customization and variants according to regions.

Every month a new one will be released and they have different features and price points.
Only high end android devices are nice but good for customization and watch videos over web (large screens) and usual stuff.
Even with so much power packed inside them , they simply waste resources by putting up an inefficient software.OK i admit , it supports flash , streams everything over web , its just like a mini computer.
Apple's point of view is different , they treat Tablet and Phone exactly the correct way. They make them easier to use , less complexity , great market for apps.
On spec sheets , u find everything a big disappointment but u can recover that disappointment with 3rd party apps.

Just a good example is Quad core processors , All companies rushing for them but what is actual result ? epic failure because they are useless as they wont support LTE.
Apple stayed on dual core with new iPad (i actually laughed and poked fun) , but what they did was exactly good because they reduced their production costs and useless burden.
Galaxy s3 for LTE markets comes with dual core processor (better than apple's) but again , how many apps really utilize that ?
to be really honest single core phones did pretty well for performance wise (android is exception) counting iPhone 4 , WP , 3GS and iPod Touches/iPads.
Single cores lag just 3-4 seconds behind dual core but not like double speed difference. The specs just appeal geeks.
For an average consumer , tablet and phone must be easier to use , like Windows phone or iOS , once watch windows smoked challenges .
It is rigged challenge but come on , live tiles on single screen more useful than widgets and bunch of icons plus notifications on multiple screens.
Its all about product works or not.Everyone has their preference , and needs with different style of usage.
I just find android is just rushing for nothing , they can make good products if they take sometime and focus instead of trying to look at sales and trying to make wars in spec sheet.

as.a.wholewell said.

samsung had well respect from my side before (i purely hate samsung phones , primary reason is service and support along with delayed updates) but i own other things at home which are samsung ,
Recently , they started off copying apple/amazon style by trying create their own eco system and trying to turn people towards their product and if u look at galaxy s3 price its insane ,
last year s2 price was decent (unlocked) and if u see s3 , its price is 40% greater than the s2 price( price launched in last june).

I just understood one thing , samsung is trying to improve their 'brand' value at the same time trying to get grip on low-end market as well.
But i think samsung has to stop doing cheap tricks like apple , trying to mock others or making proprietary things (like making S-voice exclusive to one device when devices like s2 and R are capable of that with a software update)
Apple always followed same principle from first , even before 13 years their principle
values were same , so there is no way apple is going to change their style or system ,
they have a good fan base and loyal consumers but i think samsung need to work a
lot to get 'brand' value and try to make products by keeping average consumers in mind
(like apple) instead of trying to appeal geeks or reviewers like many other companies
do.

Nokia never dies because they care about consumers more than any company , maybe they had bad time , but nokia always nice company and makes user-friendly products.

@0563c5ab0dfb29a2eb3d41afc78f8eb5:disqus Agree with you that TouchWiz is really a crap now.

Android became popular fast, because of the freedom of it has. You can convert android look into anything you want. TouchWiz, Sense, Time Scape, WP7, iOS,,, anything you name it. So you will never get bored of your phone. Samsung wasnt a crap before Android. I wasnt a Samsung fan those days, but I must say they had pretty good WinMo and Symbian phones back there. Have you ever tried one?

I have used window mobiles starting from PocketPC 2003, 5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5. WP7 is working very smoothly. Correct. But got bored in one week. Sold it and switched to Android. Actually I love to switch back to a WP if WP8 will come out handy.

If you say Android is lagging, that is bullshit. It depends on the way you operate it.

No hard feeling. Cheers...
