well there are drivers if your laptop isn’t old, even if it is, you’re likely to find individual drivers for each component

Windows 8 doesn’t improve performance, but there are some games that are playable on windows 8 on HD 3000 like angry birds and ninja fruit or whatever

hp pavilion g6, i know where to search for drivers actually, but i was asking about availability,, and intel HD3000 performance is dreadfull with games on win7, hope they can improve things with win8!

i have bought win8 license 2 monthes ago and haven’t installed it yet on my laptop, do u advise me to? what are the advantage over win7? and what about the programmes and drivers? do all of these working on win7 x64 work on win8 x64?

to each his own, but there is a reason why the Win 8 launch wasn’t as defining as Win 7 was ….

I cbf to look at what all so called improvements which win 8 comes with, (which are technically useless to the average buyer) but the time I have spent with Win 8 laptop in my local best buy draws me to the conclusion that their is no need what-so-ever of those live tiles…..

Windows 8 is not bad in any way, it’s just that it doesn’t justify an upgrade…..

A totally new device coming with a totally new ecosystem and relatively few apps won’t kill something like iPad in a few short months.
The threat to Apple gets bigger as more people adopt Windows 8 and its new UI though.
