@2c1988da9816d1cf672d5eff4ef5cdfc:disqus Its not a question about feel-good or any such wonderful emotions that comes across our minds. Its a sign of business profitability to some and feasibility to others. Look at it this way. You bought a product manufactured by X. There are others who buy product(s) manufactured by X as well. X makes money. What does that tell you? Simple: X is a successful business venture. It manages to sell its products well. Lots of people buy it for different reasons. And why do they buy it? Because its worth it. You wouldn't buy an iPhone or an SGII unless you're convinced its good, no matter how much the company makes it, right? At the end of the day, yes, I'll admit that its a subtle advertising campaign for the company in question, but why are you so worried about how much profits they make? Simply put, they give you a product, if you think its worth your money, you buy it. If not, then go elsewhere.

"plus they are gaining marketshare daily"

What?! They are? That's news to me, because last time I checked WP7 was losing market share. Do you have a link to back up your dubious claim?

I see no reason that indicates the WP7 deal will fail. The Mango update brings Msoft up with iOS and Android in features, plus they are gaining marketshare daily. Also, doesn't Apple have a Monopoly as well? You cannot even install OS X on a damn PC but it's ok to install Windows on a Mac, that's BS.

:) Exactly! Besides I don't know how people can feel good about such news - that only means we were asked to pay much more for the goods, than actually had to. It's like feeling proud that British Petroleum is making such a record profit this year, because of the high fuel price we all are paying.
