I’m not surprised but I honestly don’t care. I guess I’m a member of the “Anything but Apple brigade”, so instead of buying an iPod I recently ordered a Zune on Amazon. Before that I owned a Sony MP3 that, until I lost it, lasted me about 3 years. The only Apple product I own is a shuffle, and I use it for exercise. Other than that I don’t own any Apple products and I don’t understand all the hype about them.

GoFish! – I don’t think so, because Apple is Apple, and they’ve created the hype by building a wall between “us and them”. Usefull standards like bluetooth isn’t fully implemented because that would violate the wall. Cool design attracts new fanboys, and once behind the wall your iTunes library, that only works behind the wall, prevents you from going back to the free world.

@5329785015ca582f1896da25e6d43fda:disqus Starting with iOS 5, iOS devices no longer require iTunes for everything. Also, iTunes only sucks on Windows. On a Mac it works perfectly fine.

Your point is legitimate. Shouldn’t Apple as well say the same about iTunes? I’ve heard that iTunes is complete crap from every Apple user who isn’t a fanboy.

What if Microsoft stopped copying everything Apple was doing? There wil be only one Apple! What if Microsoft said, "we wont force people to use zune to handle music in Windows Phone, we will make it so good that people want to use it". What a wonderfull world that would be
