In other words, a web developers must now carefully preview his pages on Chrome, FireFox, Opera, Safari, IE8, IE9, and IE10. Although most of the things that work on IE8 will also work on IE10, but sometimes it’s painful when it doesn’t. It would be nice if there were just IE9 and IE10, or just IE10. But the fact that many many users are stuck in IE8 and IE9 hurts devs’ hearts.

i try to install IE 10 for my laptop . after downloading the file , it tells me you must have service pack 1 for your win 7 to install this browser . after downloading the service pack 1 (900 mb) it says must download another bunchs of update …. so just for a simple browser , i downloaded 1 gb and have to restart my laptop 4 time and wait for an hour to have this trash!!!
forget th IE . as long as chrome exists , i dont want IE+Service pack+……..

You’re not understand what standard means. I knew what is HTML and CSS. And if you called IE standard just because it use HTML and CSS, you might as well called IE6 a standard.

To be honest, HTML and CSS is not something developer can write only once and it works on every browser that apply to standard. Because no browser apply to standard THE SAME way. You’ll know this well if you’re really a web developer, not just a users who got hype by the ads. A lot of works have to be done if you want to achieve the same result on all browsers(if that’s possible at all). The web is not just HTML and CSS mate. HTML5 and CSS3 go beyond that. And most of its features are not support in all browsers yet.
