most hackers are from russia, you're from india (I assume) so you don't seem to know a lot about developed countries

and if people in developed countries don't buy their copies as you say, how do companies such as apple get money from itunes

OK Kid, I don't think people in 'non-developed' countries are smart enough to tackle security of powerfully built secure software systems! They don't make cracks! Neither torrents were created by them. Get a life. Use some common sense!

Microsoft is trying to position software as a service you subscribe, rather than something you buy and be done with it. As much as this is a good business move, I'm not sure how many people (individuals) are comfortable with "renting" software instead of "owning" it.

I would much rather buy a version and have the right to use it forever instead of forking out $100 every year. For most home users, that would be at least 7-10 years (lots of people still use Windows xp and Office 2003)

Microsoft has also removed the "3 license" home editions - so if you have 3 computers at home you need to spend $140 per computer, which is very, very steep.

That's a bad move - this will push the casual user towards OpenOffice and the 3rd-world-country user to piracy.
